Marketplace policies These rules are designed for ApniMarket's marketplace model and may be updated as the platform grows.
Terms of Use: By using ApniMarket, you agree to use the platform lawfully, provide accurate information, respect seller and customer rights, and follow applicable order, payment, cancellation and return rules.
Seller standards: Sellers must provide accurate product information, lawful products, correct pricing and stock information, and complete the verification information requested by ApniMarket.
Payments: Online payments are processed through the selected payment gateway. COD collections are handled according to ApniMarket's delivery and reconciliation process.
Returns & refunds: Eligibility, timelines and refund treatment are shown with the relevant order/product policy and may depend on the product category and seller obligations.
Security: Users must keep passwords, OTPs and account access details confidential and must report suspected unauthorised activity through Help Center.

Licenses & third-party services: ApniMarket may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, payments, analytics, messaging and support. Their own terms may also apply.

ApniMarket respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information may be collected when you browse, create an account, buy or sell products, contact support, or otherwise use the ApniMarket platform, why it is used, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Depending on the feature you use, we may collect information such as your name, email address, mobile number, account identifiers, saved delivery addresses and delivery contact number, order and transaction details, seller profile information, GST/PAN information submitted for seller verification, support requests, reviews or questions, and information you voluntarily provide to us.
When you use optional features, the browser may request access to the camera, microphone or notifications. We request these permissions for the feature that needs them and do not treat a denied permission as consent.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, process and deliver orders, provide COD and online-payment services, support sellers, verify seller information, prevent fraud and misuse, provide customer support, respond to call requests, improve search and platform functionality, send service notifications where enabled, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Marketplace and seller information
ApniMarket operates as a marketplace connecting customers and sellers. Seller information may be used to display legally or commercially required seller details, support transactions, handle complaints, complete verification, manage settlements and maintain marketplace safety.
4. Payments and saved cards
Payment-card credentials are handled by the payment gateway. ApniMarket does not intentionally store raw card numbers or CVV information in its application database. Where the payment provider supports eligible tokenised saved-card functionality, the provider controls the tokenisation and storage of the payment credential.
5. Permissions
Camera: used for photo search or other camera-based features when you choose them. Microphone: used for voice search when you choose it. Notifications: used for service notifications only after browser permission is granted and the feature is enabled. You can manage these permissions from your device or browser settings.
6. Cookies and local storage
ApniMarket may use browser storage for preferences such as theme, notification preference, wishlist and certain non-sensitive app settings. Authentication sessions are maintained through the authentication service. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out or reset local preferences.
7. Third-party service providers
We may use trusted service providers for authentication, database/hosting, payments, communications, analytics or customer support. Information is shared only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security, meet legal requirements, or operate the marketplace.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, meet accounting or legal requirements, and protect our rights. Retention periods may differ by data type.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your password, OTP and device access.
10. Your choices and rights
You may update profile information, manage saved addresses and preferences, control optional browser permissions, and contact Help Center regarding privacy questions or requests. Where applicable law provides rights relating to access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion or grievance redressal, ApniMarket will process such requests subject to legal and operational requirements.
11. Children
ApniMarket is intended for users who can lawfully enter into contracts and use online shopping services. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children without appropriate legal basis or consent.
12. Grievance and privacy contact
For privacy concerns, data requests, complaints or questions, please use the ApniMarket Help Center and create a support request. The final commercial launch version should also publish the operating entity's legal name, registered address and designated grievance/privacy contact details.
13. Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology or legal requirements change. The updated version will be made available through ApniMarket, with the effective date revised accordingly.
